The Brief

Leslie J Thorpe Ltd, a long-established construction company, had an old WordPress website that was holding the business back from proactively marketing themselves and building connections with prospects. They knew they needed the help of an award-winning website design company!

 

The website itself was visually outdated, difficult to edit and manage, and lacked the functionality to support modern marketing efforts. 

 

The site featured a confusing user journey, broken links, limited calls to action, and an aesthetic that no longer aligned with the company’s professional standards. Additionally, neither the internal team nor their previous external web support could easily update content. The old WordPress theme created roadblocks that prevented integration with newer digital tools or even basic maintenance, putting the entire site at risk.

 

Therefore, they commissioned website design company, Growth by Design, to design and build a fast, affordable solution that preserved their brand while bringing the site up to modern standards.

What we did

To address their immediate needs without a full redesign, we delivered a rebuild using the latest WordPress technology. As a website design company specialising in WordPress, we knew the tips and tricks to be able to quickly refresh the legacy elements of the old site and replace with new components to rebuild the whole site, overcome the challenges and create a strong foundation for the future.
