The brief

Sussex & Surrey Partitioning is a specialist installer of Partitioning, Mezzanine Flooring and Suspended Ceilings. They have a unique approach to creating lasting impressions and combine excellent customer service with innovative ideas.

Their challenge was that their website was slow and outdated in appearance. It was non-responsive, meaning it did not work well on mobile devices, and the user experience was poor. It was also not getting found in the search engines, which meant the level of enquiries they were receiving were few and far between, and the quality was often low.

They also had a low presence on social media and were aware that opportunities were undoubtedly getting lost to the competition.

What we did

The first part of the solution was to design and build a new, fully responsive website with a fresh, modern feel. The new website had a superb user experience that made it easy for visitors to navigate the content important to them as fast as possible. A strategic SEO plan was developed to ensure the website could be found in the search engines for as many relevant search terms as possible by as much of the relevant audience as possible. In addition, prestigious projects were showcased on the website to help achieve a high perceived value to the services offered and increase the quality of enquiry.

A wide range of marketing strategies and tactics were then used for social media, email marketing, Video, Google PPC advertising, SEO, Blogging, and several printed marketing assets. This helped build awareness, educate prospects and existing customers on the range of services and solutions available and gain confidence from experience shared by client testimonials and ratings.

Results & impact for the client

As a result, Sussex & Surrey Partitioning improved from just 1-page ranking well in the search engines to 68 top-ranking positions on page 1 of Google within three months. Enquiries climbed from an all-time low to a record high, with the average order value of enquiry tripling from £3000 to £9000. Many orders have been well over £75,000, and a recent enquiry progressed to a proposal for over £250,000.

Through effective Google PPC advertising, a wider audience was reached outside of the immediate location enabling higher levels of enquiry that would typically be challenging to attract with local SEO. In addition, social media content has improved awareness and engagement, and careful planning has enabled website content to be re-purposed and used on multiple platforms to ensure the most cost-effective use.
