A new start-up company in the financial investment sector, Zukuri Capital, found themselves in just such a position. After months of setting up the business and focusing on compliancy and regulatory requirements, the moment came to start having face-to-face business meetings. A very important meeting had been arranged, and while attention was on preparing for the meeting, the realisation dawned they didn’t have any business cards for anyone in the team.
Attending the meeting without professional business cards, in fact, the best business cards possible, to represent them wasn’t an option but the meeting was in two days!
One of the business’ founders had worked with Growth by Design in the past and reached out to see if there was anything we could do at such short notice.
So the brief was for the best business cards to be created from scratch, be a high-quality print and correctly represent the professionalism of the business.
Despite the tight time frame, it was still important for us to have an initial briefing with the client and collate all of the available assets that we wanted to use in the design. We then created artwork for the business cards and provided proofs in PDF format that the client could review and make any required amendment requests.
When the client was happy with the design, we immediately got underway with the printing to achieve the deadline required. The cards were printed on high-quality heavy-weight board, with a matt laminated covering on both sides, to provide a high-quality feel.
Once printed we arranged to meet the client for an urgent collection on the same day.
Against all odds, the client was able to have business cards for the entire team ahead of their meeting. The business cards were designed and printed to the highest quality in record time, so the team were able to attend their meeting fully equipped.
