The brief

Fine Furnishings are an upholstery manufacturer based in Haywards Heath with a team of skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work and produce custom made furniture of a very high standard that will stand the test of time. They have a showroom where customers can visit and view their products with various fabric samples and swatches from which to choose.

Fine Furnishings needed a design and print company to supply their estimates, invoices and business stationery. They also required a presentation folder that would work as a sales brochure to help promote their business and aid sales conversion. Fine Furnishings had wanted a sales brochure for many years, but understanding how to get the look and feel of the design right and the information in it to work effectively as a sales tool was a daunting process for them.

What we did

We began the project with a design consultation process to identify why the brochure was needed, what audiences it needed to appeal to, and the outcome Fine Furnishings wanted to achieve when using the brochure. We photographed a variety of furniture from their showroom and fabric swatches so they could be featured within the design of the brochure folder.

The final design oozes quality and style whilst also highlighting that Fine Furnishings have highly skilled craftsmen in-house. The presentation folder was then printed on a high quality coated board with a matt laminated finish applied. When printed, the folders were then cut to shape with a very stylish pocket that can hold pricing information and contain fabric swatches within the pocket.

Results & impact for the client

The final presentation folder looks stunning! Fine Furnishings uses the folders for their proposals and finds they work well as a sales conversion tool. Again, the very high standard of quality is something you gain a sense of as soon as you walk through their doors and now that high standard of quality continues through to the experience of what customers take away with them when they leave.
